Dear Rockstar- Fix Your Fucking Game

There is order, even in chaos.
There is civility, even in depravity.
Upon my sword, I carry the heart of my people.
My shield is stained with the blood of my enemies, their fear of me runs deep.

Update- D3DGear was apparently conflicting with the launcher. Why the hell would recording software prevent a game from launching?
Its obvious at this point, three days in, that Rockstar has absolutely no idea why the launchers are not working for so many people. My issue is that I run the game, the splash logo appears briefly, then the process promptly self-terminates. This happens 100% of the time, and no fix or workaround has been successful. So some of you might be wondering how such a widespread issue wasn't caught and fixed in the testing phase. Well, in all likelihood they knew about this issue but launched the game anyway. This is exactly what happened with AC:Unity when Ubisoft released an extremely buggy, unstable product. Rockstar, you are betraying the trust of your loyal customers and costing yourself future sales. Fix this issue soon or lose customers, simple decision.

FA+

For one, I didn't want to support the pre-purchase thing which has screwed so many people (especially when it offered nothing substantial). Second, at the very least I want to give the game a few days to fix all the day-one bugs that will invariably surface.
Thus far, yours is the first major complaint I've heard about GTAV. Everyone else I know who owns it on PC is currently enjoying it.
If v ends up cheap in stores I'll buy it, downloading it would use over 3/4 my monthly data so that's not an option. I've already played the game on the xb360 as well anyway and honestly I can say I found it completely dull and boring anyway.
So what you can try to do to dance this issue, is try uninstalling social club, deleted the social club files in my documents\rockstar\social club and if there is a GTA V folder delete that as well. reinstall social club, and then verify the game files on steam, then run GTA V.
also another thing that may work is give GTA, and social club unrestricted access.
to do this. right click on the GTA directory folder, go to properties, click security tab, click users in the box below, then click edit button, click on users again, then check full control and then apply. Do this for the social club folder as well.
also if you are greeted with an error while doing this, just click ignore all and it will still give full control.
let me know if this works.
just drop GTA5.exe into the main directory and run GTAVLauncher.exe
https://www.dropbox.com/s/k92qp0l92...../GTA5.exe?dl=0
now if this doesn't work, I am currently uploading the patch data from steam release. which is 313 mb
and may be needed
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/nnhytb94.....RYhHZ42na?dl=0
run directly from GTAVLauncher.
so is the game loading now?
