#BoobsNotBlood

I wanted to share this video, it pretty much embodies everything I feel about sexuality and how its viewed in media.

I am getting really tired of shunning any kind of sexuality in games but letting extreme violence get a free pass. Please watch this video if you feel the same and if you are inclined, support #BoobsNotBlood.

I live in germany and we have a slight problem with violence in games and thus many games in the past (and today) usually get toned down to appeal for our market and avoid a ban.
The only way to get an uncensored game was to get it from the USA or the UK.
With Giants: Citizen Kabuto it was the first time (that i heard of) that a game was toned down in the US while it stayed uncensored here.
The reason?
Because you can play a lady character that runs around topless.
Not in the US version though, there she is covered up.
It's totally ridiculous that any kind of nudity or sexual theme is getting shunned or censored while on the other hand you can rip a person in half in the most violent way.
Boobs don't hurt anyone.

I can understand that titillation can sometimes become tiring, but to try to discard the issue all together? Gaming may be in its "teenage" state, but it's very evident how far it has to go in growing up. :/
