Wow, been awhile since I updated. I did get a new job, like 2 months after being unemployed.
Turns out I was asked to falsify some documents at Abbott Labs as one of their Analytical Chemists, and my refusal was their excuse to say I was making "mistakes".
It did work out though, because my new job as Microbiologist is the dream job I'd been hoping for, and is more related to my degree anyway (and my previous work experience).

It was important to me. I was assigned to a medication for premature babies' lungs, and I wasn't about to start messing up those tests for the sake of appearances. ;)
