Metallic Dragons!

Feel free to forward questions to http://www.formspring.me/zsisron
Anyone have any good references of D&D metallic dragons? :o
Also! Of the 5 usual dragons (Bronze, Brass, Copper, Gold, and Silver). Which one do you feel best for being corrupted? <: And why?
Also getting rid of an old journal. XD

does that help? :D
So for that reason, I'll put in a vote for Bronze =)
...Not that I've ever been corrupted, just a normal hyena over here.
That said, I've found the hardest to find proper references for have been silver dragons, and a quick Google search yielded images like this one.
Regarding corruption, any metallic can be corrupted just as easily as any chromatic can be cleansed. The only particulars rest in how that would come about. As far as I'm concerned, alignment is just a suggestion and need not be adhered to as if holy writ in stone.
In other words: this.
Corrupt them all!
*evil laughter*
Pokémon!
They hang out with people. People are corrupting. Also: Silver tarnishes to a dark grey color.

As for the best to be corrupted, I'd say the gold ones. It's always more interesting to see these holier-than-you guys fall. The silver ones are more bearable and the others are just not interesting enough for me.
*chuckles*
Reminds me when I was GM and my group met a human NPC and I let them think it was a golden dragon. They did a few quests for him before they found out it was a red dragon of great wyrm age polymorphed into a gold dragon. And they found out the hard way before they had the spells to discover it prematurely.
As for corrupting, I think brass would probably corrupt rather nicely, ideally into a tarnished greeny-gold look, everything else is pretty resistant.
As for the corruption aspect, as a follower of DnD and an avid "fluff" reader, Silver and Bronze are my best choices for corruption. Silvers are very heavily into the other non-dragon races and much more poised to fall when the loss, or threatened loss, of someone they have become very attached to clashes with their desire to help. That, and Bronze dragons are very protective of people, places and things, leading to quite a few chances for them to stand their ground proudly (and foolishly) against a corruption they could never hope to fight off.
Though Kleet has an excellent point about coppers :)
There are no canonical references for D&D dragons; recent editions have tried to impose some kind of consistency, a dismal effort that has only stifled the the individual creativity of the various artists; things used to be much more fun. I suggest googling "x dragon" and picking something you like!
Silver if you want to do a lot of stories of it after it is corrupted. but I am biased in that they are my favorite dragon.
Nothing beats the ability to be anyone or anything.
