Malware/Virus scanner suggestions?

I've noticed recently that my typing has gotten weird, "Sports" will sometimes become "Spoyrts" and many times my words become double spaced like this. All for no reason. I am sure I'm not double tapping, or hitting extra keys.
I am torn between the idea I might've picked up a bug, or perhaps my keyboard is failing somehow. The first option is more likely and potentially less expensive.
What all scanners do you lot use to keep your PCs clean? Or better yet, what'd you use if you had a problem similar to mine?

paid software the best is ESET
To get rid of viruses you already have use malwarebytes.
As for actual security, I've been using MSSE for years, no problems, and regular scans with Malwarebytes
