Before considering art for your gun, I would take the time to go to a firearm safety course. Many places offer them for free. You will learn the basics of your weapon and the main rules of gun safety.

Once you have learned your weapon, then you can apply art. I recommend against final or stickers as they will come off eventually due to recoil and gun oil. Also the acids in most stickers will damage the finish on the slide.

If you really want your Block decorated, then please take it to a laser engraver to get a design engraved on it. This will be permanent and won't damage the gun in the long run.

Sounds like a good idea to me. As for the firearm safety course, I am taking one. It has helped me a lot, considering i have fired a firearm before but didn't know how to hold one properly due to my dad who was not properly trained. Now that you mention laser engraving, it seems like the best idea, I honestly had no thoughts about that.
