I've heard and seen it around but I've never used it myself. I prefer to use trans since I think 'cuntboy' and 'dickgirl' are offensive. It also just sounds....vulgar if I say so myself. I've just never been the one to obsess over the label because of how is doesn't sit right with me. I'd rather use the proper terms instead. But that article was a read and it reaffirms my standing on not using it uvu

Im glad i'm not the only one who's not really fond of the term. My fursona is one and i've always hated how there was no better terminology for it. Sounds more crude and mocking than anything else, and i always found it awkward to tell someone, 'oh, he's a cunt-boy' and hate how it stands out(to me) so much on the reference i ended up never finishing for him.

This is true. Which is why i tend to use intersex, or you know. terms that dont sound vulgar and derogatory like 'dickgirl'/'cuntboy'.

nah i didnt, ive read quite a few different peoples journals about the subject. i pretty much see it as ask what someone prefers to be called. cause to me dickgirl and cuntboy arent derogatory.

tbh I don't mind it, I mean it's totally valid for someone to mind it and I don't often use it to describe my sona when I get stuff of him, since when he's got the so called cunt bit, it's Testosterone swollen and he's got masectomy scars, therefore transman, as myself, is more accurate, I just don't mind it. Honestly, as a trans man myself, the term 'cuntboy' and 'dickgirl' seriously pisses me off to no end.
I've seen the term be used (mostly around FA) but I didn't want to seem like "that guy" so I just stood silent.
There really isn't any argument for the usage for it, people just enjoy fetishizing everything.

I don't mind it. If the person identifies as one, that's their right and choice. Those that get offended for the sake of others should be careful. For example, my character is intersex and represents how I physically feel. I'm not trans and don't want to be called that. I don't need people to be offended by what I call myself.

Since if they call themselves that then other people will think that it's okay to call other transgender men that, which for the vast majority, is incredibly disgusting and degrading to be called.

I think that the reason people don't say them is Because the labels of "trans" and "intersex" are a spectrum and are unspecific; people hate ambiguity. there's a fine line in the sexual/gender/romantic Orientation-concerned community to either label NOTHING and just use over-arching terms to prevent ones from being singled out for attack, or for individuals to get SO bogged down by what defines those roles and thus creating a MILLION labels that no one else can understand, let alone the public that just wants to know key details.
Because we live in a binary-gender society, if queer people want to get public support, you kinda have to conform to that base, adding gradually-more complex ideas as people learn... Trans-boy/girl are less confusing to CIS people that don't fully understand the mental aspects than just saying transgender...

i have no problem with the idea, i just dont like how it has the word cunt in it. like it sounds like some sort of slur or swear, and personally using that term really irks me as a trans male ._. like.. im a boy with a vagina too and i dont enjoy being called a cuntboy? but hey whatever people are going to get off to whatever they want what can you do really lol.
