... IE an update.
To my journal.
Which I haven't done for literally years.
I'm working in a metal shop which shall remain unnamed, as a floor hand. I can't tell if it's slowly killing me or making me tougher. But it pays well, and any metalworking experience is an asset to my resume.
I am living with
faenaria and am very pleased to call her my pet, my kitten, my mate. I'm unsure why I keep attracting felines... but for now I'm not complaining.
I have been growing more involved in the local medieval re-enactment scene, and as part of that have recently purchased a 45lb pull recurve bow, after rediscovering my love of archery.
I have been passively worldbuilding and thinking of stories, but have yet to find a catalyst powerful enough to push me to writing once more, beyond sporadic RPs which are most often disconnected adult scenes with little to no continuity.
I recently moved to a new apartment as well, much larger and nicer, and for less than a hundred more a month.
In all, things are looking up, once more, though there are some aspects I am not happy with, I acknowledge that I am in a good spot right now, and very fortunate to have the opportunities I have.
In other news, if anyone has something they want written... please tell me. I need to get back into the groove.

I'm glad to see you're doing well. Congrats on the metalworking stuff. Was wondering what had you so busy when we were trying to start a RP and you vanished. Hope the move went well too.

OP
Heh, thanks! It did go well, the new place is very spacious and nice. Finally have carpets again, yay!

Mmmm carpets are the best! No dander flying around when you sweep. You can just suck it all up. No sticky stuff sticking to everything because the carpet is suppose to catch it and when you don't have one...well... you carry everything with you, even into bed. Like at mom's place upstairs. I was there for a week and some because of my concussion and every time I got in bed there would be crap from the cat or from my nephew or from my own socks because it gathers at the foot of the bed when there is no carpet. Tis also easier on the feet and back to have soft stuff to walk on.
