Are you now using Adblock because of the IMVU Ads?

So, I'm sure everyone has seen the horrifying IMVU ads popping up. Especially the distracting one on submissions (though I do believe the top banner is gone?). However, I'm curious to see how many people are now using adblock on FA. My biggest concern is with the user run ads.
If you haven't seen, there are methods to go around blocking only the IMVU ads. I highly recommend doing this so you can still see the user ads.

I know I'm biased in this because I run an ad nearly every month, but that ad has helped me reach so many of you amazing people that it is worth every penny. And I'm sure to every other artist on FA who runs an ad feels the same. The vast majority of artists I have followed was through their ad. So they're extremely important. (For me personally, since I upload new art only about 2-3 times a week due to my work schedule, it's hard for my work to be seen. So I'm thankful for the opportunity FA has provided at such a reasonable price. I also recommend to other artists and creators to try out an ad as well.)
So, that's my feelings with regards to the ads. I know they were a necessary evil with IMVU buying FA. They were going to show up eventually, but if you can, please don't block the user ads. :) <3

There is not enough IMVU ads yet for me to block them all. Probably never will be.

Sure, there's ways to get around the imvu ad alone...but it just seems silly to me to go through that hassle for a few ads.
It's actually more amusing to me that you find the imvu ads terrifying. It's not much different than second life avatars I've seen. Do those terrify you too?
Ugh yes, the avatars are incredibly creepy looking. XD I'm not terrified in the sense they'll give me nightmares, just that I don't care for those hollow eyes while I'm viewing art. And the weird anatomy. *shudders* I haven't seen much of Second Life, but I'm not a huge fan of these 3D avatar creating things anyways. Only avatar creator thing I was a part of was GaiaOnline back when it first came out. Those are at least cute. XD
Also... on a side note... I'm not seeing any IMVU ads on my side. Hmmm. Usually they sit on the bottom of the page for me and don't move. Interesting.
Yes, something happened with regards to google and this being an adult site. So they were pulled, but I'm sure once it gets sorted out they'll be back. :/

Then IMVU happened.

Ads+ugly sidebar+ smaller fonts+ugly user page "updates"= one unhappy folf.
As for the google thing, yeah, I think that's why those ads were pulled down because they ran into an issue with google. Though, I wouldn't be surprised to see them back in some form or other. :/
I like FA because it has content I can not find on SF or Weasyl but sadly, if things continue as they are, I'mma Mass transfer everything on this site to Weasyl and just make SF and FA my main sites.
As you said, I sense a paywall in FA's future, even if they won't talk about it now. A company wants to make the most of their investment. The site may be improved (DA was improved upon when it sold out), but lots of pay for premium things come with that as well. I don't anticipate adult content being put behind a wall right away, as that is what probably the majority of people come to FA for, but premium features (similar to what DA offers) will definitely be a thing to pay for (once the site is improved enough to have such features like DA has).
I don't even have Ad Block or any program like that
I don't block FA ads however, since FA ads aren't likely to give my computer the e-clap like ads on other sites might. As for the IMVU ads, frankly I find the new submission page overhaul to be far more distracting.
