I know always that I am an outsider; a stranger in this century and among those who are still men.
Yeah, that sidebar feels pretty inconvenient. Also, search is still borked up.
Some other things I can comment on. I kind of like how the banner stretches across the entire top of the page, but the fact that the ads are covering up the right third of it cancels that out. Also, journal list seems to be a bit improved. Oh, and I like that the control stuff is now back in the upper right corner. Works really well from a design standpoint.
P.S.: Description previews for everything aren't working, so that's another point against the beta, as far as I'm concerned.
