Character design contest!

*Major block here. Looking for a new character/fursona design.There will be a prize awarded to the winner of course in return for the design.I'm looking for a dragon in specific, or a reptilian related species. I would prefer it not to be an angel dragon. Something with a earthy...fauna feel to it...tuned in with nature. I'm allowing a lot of free reign on this!
*-nothing too small or thin, something strong and sturdy (I'm okay with slight chubs x3)
*-something that does't go overboard on color (rainbows,neon colors etc)
The deadline will be set to May 9th for now.
Feel free to submit as many designs as you would like. You're free to use a base, etc.
Prize:
-1 sketch page (around 3 sketches of your character of choice, softly/lightly colored or not)
-Note more info may be added on along with additional prizes etc.-

Are you wanting to do someone's character or just a species in general? I have a character that is a dragon. It's a fairy dragon. They are small around the size of a large rat to a small cat at the biggest in size. They are usually colorful and can range from butterfly wings to more reptile like. They are very connected to the earth hehe. I play one in a Dungeons and Dragons game. They might be small but they are pretty badass for little guys :)

More of a general species I guess? I'm not really sure. Something that isn't extremely colorful, or really game based-ish. That does sound pretty cool though!

ah gotcha. That's the nice thing about fairy dragons though. They can be whatever color you want.They blend well with their surroundings :). Or you could always do some kind of swamp lizard/dragon creature. Oh like a swamp turtle would be cool. A really old one with lots of moss and things growing on it hehe

Oooh, I think one would be really cute that has like mushrooms growing from it's tail and shoulders....he could munch of them....and become over confident. x3
