Alright, so recently I started to get back into building suits, thanks to the weather being a thousand times more awesome. This morning I woke up to frost in the grass...it's October in Florida, like....THIS DOESN'T USUALLY HAPPEN! so thus this makes me very happy!
Now relating to the journal title, I need help. I recently ordered some large cloven hooves from DVC. At the time they had them on their discounted page so I decided to snatch them up. In January at the end and beginning a February there is a Renaissance festival coming up and it's time for me to rebuild my Faun legs. This upcoming year was the goal to keep them much more cooler,lighter, and easier to clean. I figured out the blueprints...somewhat, However here comes the problem. I think these hooves may be a little too big. I still really like them and really want to use them still, so I'll probably end up going for something in a really cute style. Now the real problem here is...how do I attach the hooves to the shoe, or stilted base, If I make the stilts. What glue do I use? How does attach?
So, do any of you have plans for Halloween this year? Costumes? Fill me in with your plans, I havent talked to you guys in a while, sorry.

I recommend going through the http://fursuit.livejournal.com/ memories (I think you can read through it without an LJ account); this is a very informative database on fursuit construction! You could probably start off with the "digitigrade," "hooves," and "adhesive" tags.
I'll have to check out the livejournal thing, I've always been putting that off. Thanks for the tips.
