That isn't a serious question because 1) There really isn't a reason to know and; 2) had you drawn pornography (not just mature works) the answer whether stated truthfully or not will most likely be yes. I'm seeing a lot of people asking this question, and I think it's very silly. I'd expect this from myspace, not from a so-called community of artists. Then again...

Secondly, I don't think you should draw anything but what you want to draw. I noticed some responses saying, "oh I would but you don't draw this..." or "you need to draw more of that....". Draw what YOU want to draw, what your desires are, what you're passionate about.

Also, in regards to those not understanding why some artists are public about thier curiosity to wheather or not our artwork is masturbated to...it's because it's a COMPLIMENT. What is arousing to us, what is our fantasy, what we put our heart and lust into is submited out into the open where it's at the publics mercy. In knowing what we've done has caused another to feel that urge to pleasure themselves, it's flattering, it's touching, and it's a turn on.

Know I know I'm using "we" a lot, I know I could say a lot more, but I'm really just trying to list points that come to mind.

Mishakun, granted we're in an adult and sexually themed forum, but it took guts to ask what you asked. You made yourself open to honest responses, and I was kinda shocked to hear all the negative feedback, all the no's - and how some of them were said wasn't IMO very thoughtful...but sometimes I guess there's just gonna be bad with the good.

I asked the same question on my journal and was never answered with a single negative response, then again maybe I'm just the one who's reacting negatively to all the no's here. To each his or her own.

I hope you don't feel like you have to work harder to please others from this. I hope you feel good about your work, what you create, and the pleasureable reactions that have resulted from your efforts. You have good perspective, compostion, and you bring out the warm, fun, and sharing side of sex that is a joy and is satisfying to appreciate.

Yeah... I'm one of those artist types who think it is a compliment for people to masturbate to my erotica artwork. Which then makes me a bit disappointed at the naysayers.
