So far, what I've seen here at FWA has left me somewhat underwhelmed. Not that anything really sucks, mind you, but FWA is (or seems to be) more of a social con than anything else, and IRL I'm even less sociable than online, what with that whole "sound like an idiot when I talk" thing.
On the upside, I've gotten a badge from Jim Groat (
rabbi-tom ), a 1" button with a head shot of my furry alter-ego (as I mentioned on evilbugz's journal, I hate "fursona"), and an inked pic of my character Elena Petrescu, from the other FWA I'm involved with (which you can't see if you're not signed up with Yahoo and allow showing adult groups, FYI).
Since the computer I'm borrowing doesn't have a scanner and doesn't have either the USB cable nor software to get stuff off my new-to-me vidcam, the goods will have to wait a bit.
As for the "fail" in the subject line, at the risk of sounding like an emotard, it's mine, not FWA's, in case it wasn't clear. I hate being somewhere I know I should be having fun, but I'm not.
