I am a dumbass. I have a genius pen tablet right? Damn thing never worked right in linux. So when it stops working altogether I get it in my head to go online and try to fix it. I had just updated the system so I assumed that was related to the problem. A few hours later my fedora 10 is bricked :D. So I pop a few blood vessels and with my brothers computer download ubuntu (the idiots guide to linux apparently). I was thinking about trying it earlier so.. this isn't that big of a deal. I spend the rest of the day setting up ubuntu and trying to get my tablet working again. Unfortunately the problem persists. Now for some backstory: My pen for my tablet has a broken connector for its positive end. I used a wire and some tape to get it working. I also use very quickly draining rechargeable batteries (that I forget are so quick to croak). Just before I'm about to go sleep I decide to try changing the battery...
*sigh*
Either the wire was loose or the battery was dead but either way.. I am a dumbass.
