I hate May.
People have noticed I am a bit lethargic, generally unhappy and grumpy right now. I really dislike the month of May. It's the busiest time of year for people who work in education, and it's no exception for me. I also have a long and storied history with bad problems involving mother's day as well as the fact that my birth is May 19th and has often been a very dour occasion for me. This year has been rough for me, with lots of financial woes and most of my friends moving away, leaving me feeling very vulnerable and very lonely.
I could get into more, but it's more personal than I feel like I would want to be on here. Suffice to say I'm sorry everyone has to tolerate my poor attitude for the time being while I struggle through everything.

Anyway, happy early birthday! Wishing it to you now because I'm terrible with dates and will forget to do it later. Hope this May goes better/quicker than previous years!
