Despite a bit of roughness at work and in my own psyche these past couple of days, I have some wonderful news. A. Obvious thing is obvious, my big draggy arrived safely and is in my arms for the first time. B. I've finally escaped Walmart. I've gotten a lab tech job in Little Rock where I stress test concrete slabs and cylinders. I'll be getting all sorts of certifications in doing so and the pay (not to mention the benefits and paid vacation) are much better. Eventually, I'll also be trained in soil analysis so there's gonna be lots to learn in the coming year. I'm just so happy to have some work that I can sink my teeth into.
