FAQ's
Why don't you take points?
~~I do not take points because I can't use dA points to buy groceries or pay rent. Everything that I make goes toward rent or living essentials like medicines, food, and toiletries. Also more materials to continue taking commissions.
Do you do digital art? I do not have the funds to ship a piece.
~~I can do digital art and the prices for digital art are the same for traditional pieces. Just let me know what you want and I'll hop on it!
Why do you do traditional art more than digital?
~~I have worked with traditional mediums like pencils, pens, acrylic paints, and pastels for the majority of my life. I can put in a lot more effort and honestly I feel like I add a little bit of my heart and soul into each traditional piece. Plus in my honest opinion, traditional pieces sometimes look way better than digital art if done correctly.
Where do you get your slate and why do you charge so much?
~~I get it here at home and its Pennsylvania Ribbon slate. It is also 180-years old and they were originally part of my house's slate roof. I have to take very delicate care when I paint on them and ship them or they will break and its very heartbreaking to see a piece that you've worked so hard on in a million pieces.
I also charge a pretty penny for them is because of the materials i.e. paint and brushes and sprays that I need to use to create your desired piece. I have limited quantities and if I run out I need money to put in my gas tank to go get whatever I need and I need to pay for the material.
Plus it gives me an extra rent boost and it helps me out a lot.
