Busy Busy!

Wow! I can't believe it has been about a year since my last journal entry. Life sure has been busy....My lack of posts is mainly due to a large project that I have been chiseling away at during my free time after my day job. I have not had much time to complete any of the personal illustrations that I have in the works.
I'm happy to say that I am ALMOST done with all of the illustrations for the children's book. I hope to complete the last 3 images within the next month or 2, then I'll just need to work on the book layout. The goal is to have the book be available for purchase by August/September this year.
Once the book is published I can finally post some more of the completed illustrations as well. You can always see the WIP screen shots that I post on my tumblr though. >> http://rochellesteder.tumblr.com/
The next journal post I make will hopefully be announcing that the book is finally completed. Stay tuned!

But yes! I'll be sure to post more Illustrations once the book is published. Almost done, there is light at the end of the tunnel, haha! I'm really liking how the 2 I am working on now are coming along, too. Unfortunately the author is stuck on the last phrase for 'X', hopefully he will be able to finish it once I'm done with these 2 or else the book release might be delayed past Aug/Sept this year. I really want to wrap this up soon so I can get back to fun personal illustrations and commissions. But we shall see! :)

i totally feel ya there with tiny screens and wanting a desktop--kinda been looking to save up for a thing that i could use as like a desk and dresser like those ones in hotels lol :) would be fun to trade off my old arse netbook (almost 4 now! he's a big boy now!) for like a tablet and desktop or else a more improved laptop too XD
