Use of my art:
-You may NOT claim my art as your own. You may NOT distribute my artwork. You may NOT sell my artwork. You may NOT use my artwork on other sites without explicit direct permission.

When you CAN use my art:

For educational, parody, or criticism uses.


-You may make NO money off of artwork I have done, or artwork you have made that is traced from or heavily referencing my work. (Which is not allowed and covered in the “Fan Art” Section)


I retain copyright for all artwork I have done. I am allowed to use, distribute, etc. any art I have made as I wish. (Art done of other people’s property will follow their rules and IP laws, etc.)



Adoptables:
General rules for adopts:

-If you intend to trade/resell an adoptable you have bought from me you must contact me for permission. I can give/deny permission. You can only sell/trade the adopt if you have been given permission. Permission will be denied if the person you intend to sell/trade to is on our blacklist. If you no longer want the adopt and have not been given permission to sell/trade it you may still return the adoptable to me.

-You cannot sell an adoptable for more than you purchased it for + the price of artwork you commissioned for it. (Your own artwork you have done of it cannot count towards the price, only art that you have had commissioned for it. Gift art/art you did not pay for does not count. This also means if someone normally charges $10 for a piece but was having a sale in which you paid $5, you may only add the $5 price.)

Original price + Price you paid for artwork.

NOTE: If you got the adopt in a giveaway you may not sell it, you may only trade it. All trading rules still apply.

-Rights to sell/distribute artwork you make of an adopt will be listed in the description. (If the desc says rights, you have them, if the desc says no right, you ARE NOT allowed) PLEASE CHECK BEFOREHAND.


“Closed species”

-Please obey all species-specific rules. Each species will have its rules listed in the description on the ref sheet and will be linked at every auction/sale.

-NONE OF MY CLOSED SPECIES COME WITH RIGHTS TO SELL/DISTRIBUTE ARTWORK MADE OF THEM. (You can, of course, commission artists for work of your adopt, but you MAY NOT make artwork of them and sell it, or make T-shirts or sculptures with images of the adopt on it and sell it.) In short: YOU MAY NOT MAKE PROFIT OFF OF ANY CLOSED SPECIES ADOPT.

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT beg, bribe, or otherwise try any means to get rights from us. If you were granted rights there is no need to ask, and if you want to check your rights you are free to message. (We recommend checking beforehand in any scenario.)



Fan Art:
How I define Fan art:

Characters or art inspired by artwork I have done or characters I own.

What this includes:

-Fan-characters

-Fan-art of my characters

-Re-imaginings of pieces I have done. (For example If I drew a lion swimming underwater hugging a jellyfish and you liked it so much you wanted to draw a lion swimming underwater playing with the same jellyfish, and all of the art/posing was ORIGINAL/DONE BY YOU)

What is NOT included:

-Copying (This means tracing, heavily referencing, recoloring, etc.)


NO MATTER WHAT YOU CANNOT PROFIT FROM/DISTRIBUTE FAN ART. (No, not even “Donations”)

I request/prefer that you contact me before creating fan art. I would also like to see the completed art, so please link me to it. ALSO I request that you link back to my page on the artwork.



Auction/Sales Rules:
-MUST BE SERIOUS BIDS/OFFERS ONLY. The placement of “fake” bids is not allowed and will receive an automatic ban from all sales, auction or non.

-DO NOT HIDE COMMENTS IN WHICH YOU BID/OFFER. This is related to “Serious bids/offers only” Please make sure you actually have the funds/intend to pay BEFORE placing a bid/offer.

Note: Hiding bids/offers will warrant a warning; if it happens again a ban will be instituted.


Holds:
Holds are a maximum of 3 days; if you are a known or trusted buyer an extended hold can be discussed.



Payment:
-Payment must be received within 48 hours from the time you are notified of acceptance/winning.

-Work will be started once the payment CLEARS.

-If you need a payment plan talk to me about it.



Refunds:
- CONTACT ME before initiating a refund. Refunds initiated without contact will be considered an attempt at robbery and will be treated as such.

Note: If you issue a refund on your own without contact, you will be put on a blacklist.

-If a refund is needed (emergency), please MESSAGE to make sure that you are not putting the account of the seller in jeopardy! WAIT FOR A RESPONSE.

-If work on your piece has already begun you will be given a reduced refund based on the percentage of completion. If your piece is already finished there are NO REFUNDS.



FOR FULL PIECES (Fully lined, colored, shaded, with BG; Not including paintings):

-Sketches will be refunded 90% of the commission price.

-After flat colors are finished there will be no refund as we have gotten too much done.



-All other refunds will be calculated on an individual basis (EX: Paintings, sketch only, line only, etc.) If a refund is given before your piece is finished you WILL NOT receive it in its unfinished state, and it will not be finished.
