One thing that has always drove me nuts about the furry fandom, something I have noticed from day one, a decade and a half ago for me, is how freaking cliquey furries can be.
Now I understand that popular artists and some furs really do get spammed with messages and comments and it's very difficult for them to reply, but it's the others that have no reason to be so socially rude that I have issues with. The ones that seem so full of themselves, have a thousand watchers for no good reason other than commissioning and posting tons of art work made for them; who seem to use the pictures as 'hey look what I can do and you can't' type deal. Oh look 'I'm going to a con again, find me if you can hehehehehe' and so forth. But my god, don't expect a fucking reply or even be noticed if you're not in their select group of other talent-less commission whores.
And how about the furs that post sexually charged or suggestive art and get all prudish if you even say something to them?? Don't fucking tell me that posting pictures of yourself at fur cons being stepped on by every single fursuiter is not sexual at all. You don't seem shy to ask complete strangers to step on you for your jollies but you have a socially retardation towards being polite to others.

2.) Just because someone does a particular kind of artwork doesn't mean that it represents something they themselves are into or that it's OK to make sexually suggestive or creepy comments under their artwork. Respect peoples personal boundaries. Unless they say differently on their profile or you know them personally and well enough to know they're comfortable with that sort of thing it's disrespectful to do so.

I don't see how you can expect others to be polite when you're not willing to follow your own advice.
Sorry if offended you, it was a rant and something I needed to get off my chest, but I've been around the fandom for awhile and it's what I've noticed as a trend.
So many of the fur meets where I live end up being a booze fest, being an alcoholic (sober for 8 years) it makes it a rather difficult thing to participate in.
