Chibi/Binary Iron Artist finally finished!
Did you guys forget about it?? WOW it's been so long. It has kicked my ass for well over a year now.
For those of you who weren't even here at the time, on October 3 2013 I posted this and the slots gradually got taken, much faster after my advertisement. It was $3 for a fullbody flats and $5 for a fullbody cel-shaded binary, WOW it's been a long time. I didn't refund anyone the entire stint. I had ended up taking 105 slots instead of 100 by accident (people having multiple ideas under the slot they'd taken mostly). But the real thing was that over time they slowly became "stream if you want it" commissions, which really reduced my ability to get them done quickly.
This journal has a link to every single binary I did since then.
I learned a lot about my limits and what to do differently next time I do an IA. I'm really glad I got all the way through it finally!
Though if you got a slot don't feel bad- a lot of really good art came of it! And it was ultimately worth it for sure.

Also I thought you finished this awhile ago. Your journals always had the "here to grieve a chibi artist's lament" or something along those lines. What was that all about then?
And I was always just a tiny bit away from finishing it due to trying to get in contact with some of the people or to find a good stream date for others. If that hadn't been an issue, it'd probably have been done a few months ago. It wasn't a problem for me, it just held back the completion date a little bit.
There was the thirty freebies when I first came to the site, for examples and practice..
then the free icon day (80ish)...
then the binary IA (105)...
now the expression challenge (30)...
and probably another IA eventually, just a more reasonable one.
I like doing things in groups like that I guess :D
