I refuse to pay for colouring. It just seems like something that shouldn't be payed for :-/

Depends on the artist, 70% of the time I'm working on art, its on the coloring, flats are easy but shading takes quiet a bit of time, and with that talent I think money should be deserved, but I really don't like the idea of having the SAME EXACT picture as someone else just recolored like....... thats not original. and takes the sentimental value of it.

They figure its the quickest way to put out different designs as well as making a quick buck <.<

I'm not talking about the artist, I'm talking about the buyer :)

Could just be easier for the commissioner/buyer to have a quick buy of a creature they like. Sorta how people shop for a computer with specific things they are looking for instead of building one from scratch :)
