Updates to TOS and FAQ
I just made a few updates to my TOS and my FAQ both here and on my website.
In regard to my TOS, I have changed what I will do with the DTD provided at the end of the project, so from now on, unless I am notified that the commissioner wants their DTD shipped back to them with their suit, I will scrap it.
Also, your DTD must have two layers of quality duct tape, or at least three layers of Duck brand duct tape because that stuff it thin and shameful. It is a disgrace to duct tape everywhere.
I also changed the warranty time from 30 days to 3 months, but also noted that the commissioner is in charge of the shipping, because I am poor and often can not even pay $30 for shipping.
I have also added that if you don't want to pay shipping and want to fix something yourself, regardless of how much time has passed since your commission, I will talk you through how to fix whatever problem you may be having for no charge at all.
In my FAQ on my website I also added the bit about the quality of the DTD, and also stated that I will only be doing bodysuit-only commissions for returning customers (aka, someone I made a partial for who wants to turn it into a fullsuit).
I also touched on shipment in my FAQ. I stated that USPS is my default shipper because it is the cheapest option, but that I will discuss shipment preferences with each commissioner based on their needs and budget.
And finally! The big one! Luckily this hasn't happened yet, but I feel the need to add it to my TOS just in case: If for some unfortunate reason your fursuit is lost in shipment, I am not responsible. It is your duty to pay for insurance if you feel it is necessary.
This means that if you don't pay for insurance on your suit when it is shipped out, and it is lost in transit somehow, you will not have a fursuit, and you will also not have any of the money that you used to buy that fursuit. Therefor it is really important that you consider purchasing shipping insurance!
