Heya~
My Name is Luna Ke' and I am only about 6 months old. Due to the other female rats not liking me they attacked me so I was adopted out to my new wonderful owners who ever since have tried to make me feel better. I have a pea sized hole in my tummy that was from the attack I recieved from the other females and I have a large abscess on my bottom jaw making it impossible to eat my food. My new owners are Andrew Beveridge and Amanda Koppenhaver in case you were curious.

I was put on a nasty tasting medicine called Amoxicilyn mixed with yogurt that I am given each morning and night, but my infections seem to be beating the medicine. Every few hours I am fed a variety of very soft foods since I cannot chew my harder food, I can barely open my mouth due to the abscess. The infection seems to be causing me to not be able to pass urine correctly so my owner Amanda has to help me by using her Vet Tech knowledge to press on my bladder right to cause me to urinate.

My owners are getting evicted from their home, they live with step parents who let them rent out the basement but due to the house owner going bankrupt we are loosing the house. We are going to be living in Colorado Springs, CO by the end of July 2015, an apartment is still getting looked into but with situations as they are my new owners can't afford my treatment and surgeries.

They will be taking me to Skyview Animal Clinic in Jackson, MO as soon as we have the money to get me all better. We have estimated that the exam will be about 150$ and then depending on what they say the rest could add up to about 400+ so we are hoping to get about $600 to hopefully clear everything.

Please help give me a shot at living~ With the infection I have now in my stomach without the right treatement I won't make it to even a year old. I sure hope that we can make it with yall's help.
