Hey guys!
I'd just like to take a moment to put the spotlight on an author I've followed for years that has some interesting Science Fiction and Fantasy books I'd like to recommend.
One of my personal favorites of his is Children of Steel, it's a novel about a future where anthropomorphic animals (The main characters are leopards) are created in labs to carry out tasks deemed too hazardous for human standards of the time. Their service to humans is in the form of indentured servitude, and their freedom is earned if they can manage to survive a rather hostile term of occupational service. It's told from the perspective of the leopards, and it gives a unique view into the challenging and very eventful lives of these beings.
I recently discovered that he's working on a sequel to this book, there are also others he has written that are related to the first Children of Steel book I'd recommend looking into also.
If you're so inclined, he has recently started a Patreon that gives you some behind the scenes access to his stories in progress.
