Static jaw fursuit head walkthrough webinar
10 years ago
My fur scrap bin is overflowing as well as my scrap foam bin. I'm currently waiting on materials for a rush order, and I'm tempted to do a walk-through webinar for a static job canine head. This would be entirely behind-the-scenes, all work shown on stream. With this showing everything, I'm thinking of doing a $5 entry fee and a $10 fee to do a side by side stream (you stream with me!) for one half hour while I help you verbally as you make your head (any style of head!)
This sort of stream I will go slowly so people can follow along in a way as wel all work together to make a suit head.
I will make a list at the bottom of this journal so people can gather what they need in the meantime!
•1 inch upholstery foam (can be purchased at any craft store, fabric store, etc)
•hot glue and glue gun
•fleece for lining and for tongue/ears (usually pink and black)
•foamies both thick and thin
•upholstery thread and needles
•pins
•masking or duct tape
•buckram (hobby lobby, Jo-anns, etc)
•material for teeth and nose (super sculpey, resin, foam, DVC parts, etc. I will be using resin and a DVC nose for this project)
•fur of your choice
•Razor blades
•markers or chalk for drawing out patterns
•mannequin head or duct tape dummy head
•design for your suit
•foamies or plastic for eyes
•sharp scissors
•trimmers
•slicker brush
•paint
•paintbrush
Optional items!!!
•airbrush
•sewing machine
•serger
If anyone is interested in this, it will be the first 3 days starting next week (Monday, tues, Wednesday). If you are interested, please post below!
