Please describe your dream home! ^_^

ohh gosh. i saw this house in a magasine once that was literally a giant tree house in the middle of the woods with tons of huge windows. even just looking at pictures of it was relaxing! a house near the ocean would be nice as well, but where there are beaches, there tend to be lots of people, and i'm not sure i'd like that.

Where do you get the inspiration for your art style? :)

so many things inspire me! older cartoons, disney movies, video games, and all of the wonderful artists i'm watching here on furaffinity - including you! :D

How are things going? Did you finally get to see a doctor? ;;

they're going! just much more slowly than i'd like. money has been exceptionally tight lately (partly because my new health insurance is so expensive), so i haven't had a chance to see a doctor yet, but i'm going to as soon as it's possible. i'll be sure to update when that happens!

aw! right now i'm taking comfort in the fact that, while my symptoms aren't getting any better, i don't think they're really worsening either! i think that's a positive sign :)

Are there any subjects in drawing that you enjoy working with more than others? Like a particular kind of animal or anything?

i really like drawing characters with long snouts and big noses for some reason, but it's also something i struggle with a lot, so i don't do it often enough! cats are also fun because i love drawing their whiskers :D

I have a dumb question! What is your opinion on slugs?

they're like living snots and i love them! most people like snails better, but i dunno. i think maybe they're trying too hard with their fancy little shells and such. slugs are just what they are and i appreciate and relate to that very much.

Haha, such an unexpected (and heart-warming) response :D I asked because I have awful childhood memories with slugs and I've developed a strong molluscophobia. I don't think anything else terrifies me as much as slugs do!

oh noo, I'm sorry to hear you've had such bad experiences with slugs! they've never bothered me for some reason, but most people I know are squicked out by 'em. i am ridiculously afraid of spiders though, haha. they make me cry!

Arachnophobia seems to be one of the most common phobias! I know many people who suffer from it and I'm sorry you are one of them D: Surprisingly, I like spiders, mostly the small ones. I let them live in my room and I don't mind them walking on my hands. But when I accidentally touch a slug, I bawl and burst into tears immediately!

Have you or Jim ever considered being art dealers at a convention? It doesn't necessarily have to be a furry one.

it's a daunting thought for me! if i wasn't so shy and socially inept, maybe! i get nervous around lots of people, so it's hard to imagine ever doing something like that. i have lots of respect for people who do, though!
