America, I am in you! Days one, two and a bit of three.

Who will save me from low doorposts? Yes, Saturday was a long day in which I absolutely lost track of time, but I made it. 7.5 hours to Newark in an upgraded flight because I am too tall for normal seats (thanks United!) then a 3.5 hour wait and a 45 minute flight in a puddle jumper. The latter was friggin' scary to fly in.
So what have I learned from flying to America so far? Well, whatever it is in the Untied aircraft they serve as coffee, it's NOT coffee. I haven't determined what it was , but dishwasher water comes closest I think. Undrinkable. And it smells horrible. I was happy to land in Burlington.
Day two was cold. It's true everything is bigger in America, even the raindrops. And boy does it rain here. We visited the Magic Hat brewery and the Lake Champlain chocolaterie. I've noticed a lot in the stores is actually locally made!
Today I've assembled a two person bed with nice iron barred headend and footend. Those will come in handy soon enough *smirks*. And last but not least, today the rain stopped a bit.
