I think going forward there will be. The important thing is to have some people leading the charge who know how to control the narrative. And who are willing to be calm and honest. For instance, one thing I disagree with Uncle Kage on, is that if the issue of "sex" comes up he will immediately deflect it. But I think in doing so, he makes it more of an issue. When the issue came up during the Star Tribune interview with  ridayah and I, we didn't side step it. Sex and intimacy are human concepts not limited to furry. When you are open and explain something calmly and logically, such as "wearing a fursuit is like covering yourself in 20 lbs of blanket", someone can immediately connect the dots of, "oh, even just walking around in one must get really hot. So most people aren't going to be having sex in them". You let them have that, "ah-hah" moment. Because it makes sense to them. So you can side step the issue, but by talking about it you make it a non-issue.

Well its good that were turning out better than New Jersey report went.

Looks pretty good. A bit unfortunate the article had to be titled "Local furries say they are misunderstood", but that's not too bad.

Yeah... I think choosing a title for the piece was probably the most difficult part for the reporter. It's tough to find something at the core of the article that describes it. I would have worded the title differently... but... yeah... "misunderstood" is pretty accurate.

I was only too happy to provide some insight into the often taboo world of furry fandom. And some fursuit shenanigans as well. <3 The article turned out amazingly. Today is a great day!

*laughs* Aww, I didn't get quoted for how i closed the interview Oh Well. But it was fun, I guess the other comments were more interesting or informative, I thought my closing statement would have made it at least Since it gave everyone a laugh that heard it. :)
