The only way to be really fair about this, I've learned, is open at different times (like every time you open, advance 6 hours or something). Otherwise you fall into the trap of artist's choice or *shudder* bidding...

Or just open for a whole 24 hours, take all the slots you can, and don't open again until those are finished.

Mmn, that 6 hour advance might actually help.
I never think about how huge that time gap is haha. No wonder!

Do you always open at the same time?
Cuz I wonder if it'd be worth having Week A openings at one time and then Week B openings at a different time and then alternating between them :V

i think that's up to you!! whatever suits different people. 11-1 pm is kinda lunch leisurely time, 4-7pm people are usually just home from work so maybe post around 8-10pm..? and the really early mornings (5am~9am) postings some people have done recently have helped me snag commission slots bc i'm a night owl who just happened to be up til early morning without sleep

it will always really help people if you figure out a specific date and time for your opening postings, and always let people know of that time a day/few days or so beforehand.. but changing the time of day you post will also help, i think!

Since you open three times a week I definitely think that spreading out the times would be super beneficial :3. Don't forget those of us who work evening shifts too! I think that opening at 1pm EST (6pm in the UK) one day, 6pm EST another day (for East Coast), and 9pm EST (6pm Pacific Time) the third day is a really fair and balanced way to approach the more major groups of people that may be interested in a commission.

Also totally random but would you ever consider badge commissions? :3c
