Some Anger Venting

So a few days ago, I had a fight with dad. He thought I was a homosexual and brought up religious beliefs against it, even though I told him no! I really don't mind homosexuality and I have nothing against it. And here on the phone, he asked me some stupid questions if I like girls or what is the biggest homosexual headquarters in California? I remember him calling me a smartass which never happened before. The way he was speaking was unacceptable and he treated me as if I was some punk probably because I'm eighteen I guess which is unnecessary.
After that, my mom heard about it and she warned me about screwing up and sending me to my dad in California.
When I do finish my school years and get a job, I hope I never speak to my dad again for some of the things he has done.

The sad thing is, most religions have very little or nothing on homosexuality, people often just use religion as a way to justify their dislike and anything they do

I get the people finding ways to dislike homosexuality thing and there has been incidents of aggression and even hostility towards homosexuals. I honestly thought the bible had something to do against it. But I guess it doesn't now that you've told me.
I'm not going to take my dad's word for it though.
