Drama and Hate towards new makers with a similar style as me

Please stop this.
There is no need to hate on someone else even if their style is inspired by mine. We are all here to be animals and have a good time. It hurts me to see new makers shot down because people think their "style" is too close to mine?
Even if it were the case, do not take it upon yourself to yell at the person or tell them what they can and can't do. The only one who should be concerned is me, and in several situations already I have had no issue with the maker or their work.
People take inspiration from others alllll the time. Not just in suit making but art and in life! This is not a crime. As long as you take that inspiration and make something of it, add your own twist! Experiment. Whats the fun of copying when you can make something new and exciting out of it :)
If you are so extremely concerned about someones work being like mine, just let me know privately and I will handle the situation. In most cases I am totally cool with it and there is nothing to be upset about.

but for real, i love this journal, everyone starts off seeing a certain artist and using them as inspiration to get their own style going!

But I had seen in the comments of their suits you were ok with it. So I guess I should be to.
People take inspiration from others all the time, it's just how art works. Yeah, there are some aspects in their suits that look similar to the suits in the post (... the eye sparkles are in the same spot I guess? slitted eyes?? THEY'RE COVERED IN FUR???) but it's just counter-productive and really immature to send it off to a 'furry scumbag' blog instead of just contacting the people involved.
Those blogs are a mess; half of the submissions are 'this popufur guy was MEAN to me at a convention AVOID'
Wasn't there was also lots of drama a while back when people decided to make fursuits with "blind eyes" like Ino's "Telephone" Angel Dragon, and people were screaming "COPYCAT!!!!" and harassing people from taking concepts from a popular suit/maker?
"Ohhh, look! They have similar eyes/shape/facial expressions!! What a total rip-off!! Time to initiate an posse and attack!"
No, seriously, this is disgusting, and it needs to stop. People are doing this for the sake of "drama", and it's completely idiotic.

Call out culture is destructive and terrible! The maker who was accused of ripping your style is a HARD worker, YOUNG, and passionate. I hate how quickly people put others down. It kills the inspiration.

Besides, the fandom is so massive that even if it's by accident, no one is going to be 100% original, because it's probably been done.
