i was nodding nearly napping when i heard a tap tap tapping at my cellar door,
i hear them calling lenor lenor
i hear them calling lenor lenor
the day before yesterday i had to say goodbye to a dear friend of mine
my sweet dog fiesty my little poodle she was 15 years old and she was very ill
i had to put her to sleep i miss her more then she will ever know but life goes on
sweet little dog always made me laugh being the sweet old thing she was

It's worth experiencing the sadness of parting to also gain all the fond and happy times that come with pet ownership. :) As a movie I recently watched that I enjoy, "To find happiness, don't avoid unhappiness.". Sorry if the cheer might be at a bad time when you still need to grieve but I'm hoping it helps.

OP
no your okay its perfectly fine i believe the same thing you quoted and i'm slowly getting over her death but if i had never met her i would have never known so much joy and love as she gave me when i got her she was already blind

That's so good to hear. Dwell on the pleasant memories and hopefully that's all you'll be left with or be able to laugh at the bad memories.
