So the whole reason that you're here is because you want people to like your art? I mean, that's totally fine and all, but the main reason that I have an account here is because I want to see other people's art, read their interesting stories, comment on their stuff, and make friends (even if I'm bad at doing that last one). And I'll be honest, being an artist isn't the reason I'm here. I can't draw terribly well. It took me a whole week to create my icon, and the way it looks STILL bothers me.

All I'm saying is this: I created my own FA account because I'm a part of this fandom. Even if nobody knows that I'm here, I still like this website, and it helps me connect with my inner furry. If you want to leave the site, that's totally fine, but there's more to it than just creating art that everyone likes. At least in my own eyes there is.

I still stick around to view art, but I should have probably worded it better. I stopped POSTING here. It feels like I used to have a fanbase that, while small, was everything I could ask for. They liked my work, appreciated it, left feedback, and generally gave a shit. And then slowly I felt that less people were paying attention. It dragged on like that for months upon months with no end in sight. Unable to cope with the loss of support for my art here I stopped posting because I felt like there's not a reason to post things here if no one is paying attention.
