Ya'know how in real life you can just walk away when someone is being rude? I wish that worked online. I mean, you can walk away, but what they said is always out there. Always around. My solution? Get a tiny bit snippy and leave that person alone.

Especially if it's an artist who I have been nothing but pleasant to and they aren't so much as decent back. Seriously, your art may be good, but it's nowhere near good enough for me to overlook you being a dick. I get this is probably how you make your living, but a little niceity goes a long way.
