Is Chrono Trigger Making A Come Back!?

OK so I can't stop jumping, Perhaps I'm just reading into this... but if it's what I think it is, my mind is going to explode. There is a teaser going on for Square Enix E3 events coming up. There are 6 games they will be announcing in particular that happened to be censored in the teaser due to extreme secrecy alongside with Heavensword, Dragon Quest, and Life Is Strange. But does anyone recognize the theme song that they're using during the promo reel? Yep folks, it's a remix of Frog's Theme from Chrono Trigger. Could it possibly be the case that we may be getting a new entry in the Chrono series after all these years? That would definitely be something that no one saw coming... oh man. I have the DS Chrono Trigger remaster, and honestly I think just one is enough. Unless if they like, completely overhaul the game and remake it completely, but you risk drawing ire when you do that. Personally I wouldn't mind seeing a remake done in the style of Final Fantasy, so the combat is the same but you have more of these 3D immersive environments.

I agree. Although if there was a remake I'd like to see more so is Chrono Cross. Just touching up those 3D polygons to how thing's look like now these days would be nothing short of amazing. Granted, Square has been known to troll us before... look at the Final Fantasy VII announcement on Sony's E3 conference.
