So because I do not know many of those who I am watching, I will feature someone who helped me when my hay field recently went up in smoke. Three lots of hay are gone and my dad and I are hoping the coming rains will prevent the last four from doing the same as we have buyers with livestock that need the hay come cutting season.
Anyways, Kiyiya is well, she's hated by a few people on here and I have to be blunt, many who have issues with her, won't even tell her why they have said issues. But no one sees the woman she is. In plus 83 weather, she came out to my farm, and with smoke and flames just a few yards away, rounded up my neighbour's horses and herded them out of harm's way. She then went looking for my dad who had gone out with the sprayer to try and douse the flames. She suffered from minor smoke inhalation and minor burns, but when she was asked by one of the firemen why she had risked her life, she bluntly stated "That's what horse folks do. We help each other out, no matter the cost to ourselves."
She is even helping us turn our destroyed fields over, driving the plough, and helping my dad seed them with the hopes we will have a decent crop before September when we do our final cut of the hay season. It's back breaking work. It's tiring and when you really would rather stay at home and relax, she's out there at 5am helping my dad.
She's a great person who has a wide field of friends, many who are in the forces, and some who are your regular joes from the police, fire and emit squads. She jokes with the local Amish, and even helps them. She babysits for free, and all the while she has to figure out her bills and such.
So we went searching on a site called www.Kijiji.ca and found a decent scanner for $300. The lady is willing to hold onto it if she can come up with $100. She has $5.63 saved from her bf but needs to get the extra $94.37 so in order to do that, she has opened up cheap traditional commissions (SFW) for the low price of $5. A deal when you consider that her pencils have gone up. Prismacolor pencils used to only cost $35 they now cost $45 and individuals cost $2 plus tax and shipping. Her sketch books that she buys used to only cost $10, they now cost $16, so for $5 you're getting a great deal.
