today, june 18th 2015, i say goodbye to my much loved ferret.
While Lilly entered this family after her brother, she has left it much sooner than anyone ever expected.
Lilly lived only a short 2 years, but i am certain that she truely lived this short time to her fullest.
we lay her body in the ground tonight, knowing that her soul has ascended high into the heavens.
the world can be an emotional place but we can rest easy knowing that she is as well.

we will forever remember the day you made me first smile, and never forget the last.
