I believe you have to select the female before the male, and it should give you options on entrances.
After that, the sex drive is found in the "thrusting" section under "Horse"

First add the character you want getting humped, then add the horse. A menu will appear allowing you to select which entrance to attach the horse to.

No, attachment is an integral part of the thrusting behavior. Without it the algorithms wouldn't work.

Can I move the horse around, after I add him? I can't seem to find his "root", like the females usually have.

An attached character is controlled by the other character's entrance. You can use the Horse > Transform section though to choose angle and rotation offset.

Switching characters - not planned, but may be implemented at some point.
Switching entrance - we are considering addressing this somehow, but other matters are more pressing atm.

Just a suggestion for the second thing, a thought that occurred to me.

Could you have it basically 'memorize' the positions/rotations of all the bones/joints, store those positions, then swap out the model for the entrance and then 'restore' the positions/rotations to the joints? That would seem to be one way to do it...

Memorizing the transforms is not the problem. The problem is that the property numbers mean different things for different entrances. For example, the result of having full Angle X when attached to anus is different from having full Angle X when attached to vagina. Solving that is tricky.
