Feral nights of perfect dark,
Black satin cloth of stars and moon.
Haze on the water, a chill in the air.
And a fellowship that ends too soon.

Here is primal man again,
Huddled at the fire against the cold,
Sharing wisdom and knowledge of words and song,
Stories and spirits from times of old.

Every stone speaks forgotten tales
Of generations from history's fogs,
Faded plaques are high on walls,
And names carved into logs.

All the toes that touched this sand,
And all the feet that walked these paths,
All the minds that knew these truths,
So many cried, so many laughed.

For we are brothers here, and all are one,
Just as day gives way to night,
We will share this understanding with all who will hear,
We know this way is right.
