waninkoko released a USB loader for the wii, I so far found reviews on it saying it works and saw videos on it. You can take your games and install them onto a USB drive on the wii. Temptation is there!
That's the only info I've ever seen....

Are you talking PAL or US? because I have never heard of -anything- of the like on the US Wii
I hope sometime they will do a firmware upgrade to allow two [or more] Wii's in the same room to detect each other and LAN without needing to connect to the internet..... such an obvious thing to allow and yet they can't do it yet.
Well, I tried it on my softmodded PAL Wii, and installed my PAL, non-pirated version of Mario Galaxy... nice and smooth, but the first stage of Good Egg Galaxy wouldn't load. One of the Monkey Ball-style stages did, though. Time to try some other games :)
Also wow, Wii Play took all of 18 seconds to install on the Hard Drive ^_^; Works like a dream, too.
Not April fools.
