My boyfriend had the same problem. He now has medication. Doctors can't figure out out as the testing doesn't show anything (when not having a seizure).
But living with him after so many years, I did see patterns that triggered things. Lack of sleep, or even lack of a good sleep was one, alcohol was another, anxiety was another, and sometimes even just playing a video game would do it as well.
I'm not sure of dehydration, but if you're prone to seizures, the lack of minerals and low blood volume from not being hydrated can trigger them. And the mixed drink, I can understand that triggering an episode. My boyfriend could have 1-2 mild drinks and it may not trigger an episode until the next day. The Neurologist outright even told him, he can't drink anymore, not even one. And even getting tests done, showed nothing, since he's normal otherwise when not having a seizure.
My boyfriend would normally have "juvenile" seizures in the mornings, almost daily. Half second black-outs, causing him to lose balance, drop his phone, etc...After the third major seizure I had to witness, feeling utterly useless each time I had finally convinced him to go see it taken care of. Thankfully I mentally kept notice of patterns of what he'd do before the major episodes that helped pinpoint things for him to get diagnosed with epilepsy.
In your situation, it may be best to keep notes of what you do, or drink before an episode. A pattern may show itself, which could help to narrow down things. I don't know your situation, but still best to go see a doctor and referred to a neurologist. There is medication to help you feel much better, and I understand how scary they can be when they happen. I hope this helps a little bit.
Oh no.
Pardon my language but those seizures are a bitch.
I hope you’ll get through it, what triggered it? Electronics?
I am someone who gotten seizures in the past but never had any for years now.
