Question time

So I've got a predicament... As some of you may have noticed, I have trouble sticking with projects that I post on here. I don't know if this is a common issue you dudes have, but I have trouble taking my "Sexy art" seriously, and thus have a hard time getting myself to commit. At this point, I'd really like to work on a full on "Treasure Chests" comic. But I don't want to start another doomed project, and want to motivate myself to work on it seriously. Anyone have any advice or words of motivation?
BTW if you're unfamiliar with my "Treasure Chests" comic concept please check this art out...

Advice? Set a larger goal (Maybe something like complete 10 strips in 5 months?) and then break that goal down into more manageable chunks (First week: have thumbnails of ideas ready, First day, have at least 2 or 3 scripts written, etc.)

When motivation fails, create a schedule and make it visible at all times; ie. get a white board/calendar, write down "WORK ON PROJECT 9AM-11AM" or something similar, and place it next to your computer.
