So I had been hoping to make it to AC this year. That hope seems to be fading though. Working in the hospitality industry, Summer tends to be my crazy time. Still, I thought with the con's move to the week after the 4th of July I might be able to make it. I had gotten a hotel room and everything. Alas, my staffing situation seems to be going down the tubes and I will most likely not be able to get away for the weekend.
I'm a little bummed but I guess AC will just have to remain on the someday list. At least I can still look forward to MFF later this year.

Oh... that sucks. =x I actually found out this month that a buddy would be able to let me share him room as I just found out it was after the 4th and I'd be able to go. I'm lucky MFF is so close because I've been able to go there the past two years.

It's a bummer bout AC but that's how things go sometimes. I agree, I'm glad that MFF is a quick drive down the lakeshore for me and at a much easier time for me to get away from work. I've already gone ahead and booked myself a room.
