Financial Mess

It has been off and on good and bad. My four week summer break came and went; spent a lot of time on the Minecraft modification. I played and finished Pokémon Omega Ruby (very good game). I picked up League of Legends yet again for a small past time all because I am obsessed over the champion, Ahri (but I am a terrible player).
Some of you might know that of my two part time jobs, one is for our family business, a used bookstore. It is not doing very well in the last few months because of significant road construction. The construction is expected to last until the end of November. That is a long time to weather bad business and I have been asked to cover more expenses than usual using money from my other job. I was told yesterday that the family job is three semi-monthly paychecks behind on paying me.
Well, if that was all of the problems, I would be fine, but I have a more serious concern coming up in a few months. My financial aid for my final semester is only going to cover 1/3 of my school expense, leaving me to come up with the other $2,000 plus books (the school jacked up tuition this next semester by $20 a credit hour). I do have enough to weather even that but I am more concerned in the long run after that. I won’t have much to spare in case something serious does happen.
I still wish there was a way to get a return off of my Disciples of Corruption modification but I don’t really see any. The ad revenue I do earn is about $.40 a month. I looked at Patreon but I do not see very prolific mods doing very well there. My mod isn’t prolific in the slightest in the grand scheme of things. Still, it is a big part of my life. I work on it every day for at least 15 minutes but usually more than that.
If anyone might have a suggestion on what I could do to try and get a return on my modification, I would love to hear it.
