Pretty sweet! I've actually been working on a list of furry cons, also based on WikiFur info (and research stemming from that). My original intent was to come up with contact information for F3 Convention, but the idea has since expanded. I want to create a list of cons that includes contact information, location, and dates, and specifically distribute this list to all furry cons ON said list. I also want to keep it updated, and issue said updates either on a regular basis, or as needed/requested, so cons can keep in touch with each other, and - potentially - coordinate with each other more, in the future.
Mwalimu, please hit me up, so we can discuss our respective lists, and maybe help each other out, a bit. Mine is still a WIP, but I have been including some of the larger overseas cons, as well. (It's easiest to get a hold of me on Skype or Yahoo messenger. See contact info in my profile.)

A lot of my information came from Wikifur (where I am an admin and help maintain a lot of the convention lists and such), though to get the LatLng coordinates for the tool I had to do a fair bit of hunting around the various convention websites and Google Maps. I decided against including dates and such in the tool, figuring that information is easily available from the convention websites and from Wikifur (most notably the upcoming events list on the front page) and as I'll have to be keeping track of new/discontinued cons and venue changes as it is, keeping dates current would add considerably to that effort. It had also started out as a road travel tool and so far I've stuck with that, but the suggestion has already been put forth to include other modes of travel, notably air travel such as to overseas cons.

Anyhow, I had envisioned it being one of several tools fans can use to find conventions; other main ones (besides the convention websites themselves) would include:

I would be interested in seeing your list as well. I don't know what would be involved in creating an "all-in-one" site that encompasses all of the above, if that was your intention, but it's certainly an interesting idea. GreenReaper has already independently collected a lot of the same information for the event map that I did for the tool and it's been suggested that if my tool were to get hosted on WikiFur we should try to set it up such that we maintain only a single copy of the data.
