So, since this project is currently crazy popular (I think the heat may've gotten to yall's heads, you know) I thought maybe we could use this journal for random talk rather than twitter, because one more name in the mentions and we have no more space for actual words.
So anyway, rotarr and I were talking about a sort of vague setting for this whole thing, just to have a guideline for everone, so we're on some sort of same level. I guess the original idea was an all-female reptilian gang, set in some modern day urban setting where a girl gang does their usual business.
Since we also got a dude, and perhaps even more incoming, I thought maybe we can have two gangs, one for the male members and the one for the females, who compete in a sort of friendly rivalry? You know, like brothers and sisters, the occasional punch in the arm happens, but nobody gets stabbed in the back or something like that. One advantage of something like this is that other people could make up their own gangs and groups, although I would keep the content on this FA page mostly, at least for our reptilian folks.
Rotarr also suggested we could turn this into a sort of image based RP, or maybe even an actual RP for those who'd want to. It would also be a cool chance for us to do collabs, and just throw around some nice and fun art in general?
Anyways, discuss away! Or whatever, mainly sit down and draw your refs for now ;3
Oh, and we need an icon, I tried my hand at something the other day but it was lame. Cool suggestions welcome.

Just because dudes join doesn't mean they have to draw dudes, right? lol.
That's when the idea was born that we could have another gang in the canon of this setting. Of course the focus will still be on the ladies, since we have 5 of those as opposed to one male character so far. x'') But who knows, none of us has any clear idea what this will turn into anyway.
I do like the idea of friendly 'girl gang' and 'guy gang' group, kinda like the Pink Ladies and T-Birds from Grease :D
I also want to say that i do draw.. but i'm no where near good enough to try collaborations with the amazing artists that are already into this.

I'm alright with the picture-RP stuff! could always go along with a little story in the artist's comment or something. Maybe even some comic panels are possible. Hmmm.. so much inspiration! I will go to sleep now, nevertheless. Ans listen to the sound of thunder and rain and my fan vibrating on the window sill. *tired gator girl eyes*
I love the idea of two gangs, that are basically one big family, but two groups. Like...Brothers and Sisters~ They can have competitions against each others (friendly competitions...dunno...sports or rap battles whatever XDD) But my Snakegirl is probably not good at soccer 83 durrhurr
As Wolfygryph said, this always gives some topic for RP art. I am all in for that :)
Also...I see the benefit of the FA group, totally for that, but maybe a tumblr or something would be handy too? I snatched this URL for us (just in case) ladylizards.tumblr.com
Right now it's PW protected (current PW is 1234) and set it so user can submit posts. For more private stuff and scribbles it could be handy...and if something good pops up in this tumblr, we could post it on the FA group for all people to see.

I'm the tailgater here (naga puns never get old) so I don't want to make decisions for you gurls. I am the only oddball after all. :,)
But I am happy to fanboy-ing about you, too. Titus is a traveller between realms and time and space. He actually exists in an urban setting as well, so I have no issue with that. But you should know that in that urban setting, his immortal soul is actually trapped in the body of a 16-yr-old brat and he doesn't exactly like it. Especially because he's a rather fragile boy and it takes him some effort to change into his full naga self. So there's room for lots of fun and maybe he's in need of his big sisters more than he would like to be in that setting.
I am pretty flexible with this character, so if you want to RP-draw - it's on!
If you need or want a Forum to do some forum RP or whatnot, I can provide that.
