People say marriage is hard work, that relationships are hard work. I have definitely had relationships where it felt like a job, rather than a release. So I get the statement.

But I think if marriage is hard work, you are either doing something wrong or in the wrong marriage. I was lucky enough to marry my bunny, and we've been together awhile now and I still don't see the work. It makes me realize how my other relationships were wrong, either because of the way I viewed them or because of my partner.

I still know all these guys who complain about their wives and their significant others, I just can't manage a complaint. Maybe people should settle less, and actually get what they want. I did, it just took time.
