Anthrocon was so amazing! I got to fursuit for the first time ever. I bought my own suit from 
twerkonthatshark and it turned out absolutely amazing. Xolani got a lot of love and compliments. The parade was long and I worked up a sweat outside but survived. Pittsburgh is certainly a one of a kind city. All the 5,000+ people who came out to support the furries are THE BEST. I hugged so many little kids and got called cute more times than I can count. Seriously it made my entire weekend seeing that many smiles on people's faces.
So my first fursuiting adventure! I didn't have a head thingy, the ninja mask thing so when I had my head on for like...15 minutes I died. I sweat up a storm. My hair was wet and gross and ew. Buying one of those masks in the dealers room, best purchase ever. The difference is amazing. Not only did I sweat less, it made the head sooo much easier to wear.
I didn't realize there was a shuttle going from our hotel so I ended up walking the....5 blocks from our hotel to the convention each day and earned a nasty blister on my heel. Ouchy! Medic! Something learned for next year. Thicker socks and take the damn shuttle! Don't walk so much and overheat! Ah! Thank you to the resteraunts that had fans and water outside! LIFESAVERS. Seriously love you guys.
So overall it was an AWESOME experiance and I can't wait for next year. Maybe I'll start going to more cons? Make xolani her own instagram? I wanna get more involved in the community!
